Carroll, French, Phillips, Wolfe and Denton Capture Feature Event Wins Saturday Night at Creek County Speedway

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (April 17, 2016) – Craig Carroll, Matt French, Tanner Phillips, Bobby Wolfe and Michael Denton captured wins on Saturday night at the Creek County Speedway in their respected divisions.

Craig Carroll found his way to victory lane for the first time in the Champ Sprint division. Carroll started on the pole of the 25-lap feature event and would lead wire-to-wire for his first winged sprint car win. The nights hard charger goes to Alex DeCamp coming from the B-Feature to start in the 17th position on the A-Feature grid, DeCamp crossed the line in the runner up spot. Frank Taft finished in the third spot with Jimmy Taylor and Brent Bates rounding out the top five.

Frank Taft, Craig Carroll and Jackie York topped heat race action with Darien Robert taking the B-Feature event win.

Matt French continues to dominate the Modified division after going three in a row on Saturday night. French advanced three spots from fourth to take the win. Sixth starting spot, Chad Davis advanced four spots to claim the runner up spot. Ho Dean who started third, held down the third spot at the finish of the 20-lap feature event. Joe Wright and Collin Wiseley crossed in the fourth and fifth spot.

French and Dean each claimed the two heat races in the Modified division.

Advancing five spots to claim the Dwarf Car feature victory was Tanner Phillips. Rob McQuary crossed the line in the second spot at the conclusion of the feature event. Jorge Chacon charged from the 18th starting spot to cross the line in the third spot. Mike Howard and Larry Pense concluded the top five.

Mike Howard, Larry Pense and Robert Watson took wins in the heat races.

Bobby Wolfe continues his dominance in the Factory Stock division after taking the win on Saturday night. Tommy Romine fell back a spot to come home in second. Chris Bales advanced up two spots to come home in third. Tate Green advanced up six spots to take the fourth spot and Jimmy Owen finished in fifth.

Romine and Wolfe won the nights two heat races.

Michael Denton took home the victory in the Mini Stock division. Jimmy Masterson crossed the line in second. Austin Timmons ended the night in the third spot with Dale Wick coming from the 15th starting spot to end up fourth and Kimberly Tyre finishing in the fifth spot.

Daniel Ray Denton and Wesley Knebel were on top of the two heat races.
