TULSA, Okla. – With the extreme Oklahoma heat predictions for the weekend, Creek County Speedway Officials have decided to delay the start of tomorrow evening’s Fast Five Racing Series event.
The start time is slated for 7:00PM, but due to the extreme heat, officials have announced that the start time will be delayed until the temperature drops below the 100 degree mark.
The extreme heat forecasted for Saturday has also prompted a donation of bottled water for the Creek County Speedway competitors and their crews. The donation has been made by the management and emergency responders of the Creek County Ambulance service.
The Creek County Ambulance is with us every Saturday night without fail to ensure that everyone stays safe and gets any type of medical attention, shall the need arise. Be sure to stop by the ambulance and thank them for their donation.
The bottled water will be made available at the pit concession stand.
Creek County Speedway and Creek County Ambulance Service stress to all in attendance for Saturday night’s racing event to please stay hydrated by drinking a lot of water and finding a way to keep yourself cool during these hot days.
