Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 15, 2016) Seven rounds deep in the Fast Five Weekly Series as of this past Saturday night, the faces in Victory Lane were familiar ones as drivers also snuck one by Mother Nature.
Winning for the second time in 2019, Kyle Clark rolled from the pole to top the Champ Sprints on Saturday night. Bailey Hughes, Danny Smith, Joshua Tyre, and Michael Tyre made up the top five. Adding to his advantage in the overall standings with the Modifieds, Tulsa’s Chad Davis picked up win No. 4 with a run from eighth. Mike Duvall made up two spots to second with Ho Dean, Brandon Dean, and Jerry Colby making the top five.
Making his first trip to the front straightaway in 2019, Kellyville’s Mathew Rowe topped Factory Stock action ahead of Jimmy Owen. Bobby Traster, Chris Wilson, and Scott Wilson ran top five. Mini Stock glory went to Leroy Burger for the second time this season. The No. 7 was chased to the line by Kevin McSperitt, Adrien Hickman, Justin Melton, and Daniel Denton.
Three starts, and just as many wins thus far, Larry Pense remains undefeated with the Dwarf Cars in 2019. This time coming from sixth to win, Pense was trailed by Paul York, Jason Miles, Rex Johnson, and Paul Kaseman.
Up next at Creek County Speedway is a double-header weekend with USAC Wingless Sprints of Oklahoma plus POWRi West Midgets on Friday, June 21, followed by Fast Five Weekly action on Saturday, June 22 with Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks, and 600cc Modifieds on the card.
Friday, June 21 admission is $15 for adults, Youth 11-14 will be admitted for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits Passes are $35.
Fast Five Weekly Series admission on Saturday, June 22 is $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 will be admitted for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits Passes are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15). Special Event prices will be posted to the Creek County Speedway website, as well as Social Media.
Saturday events open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. and Racing at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Special Event times will be posted as they arrive on the schedule.
