USAC WSO RETURNS TO CREEK COUNTY FRIDAY
Sapulpa, Oklahoma (July 24, 2019)………USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma returns to its homeland this Friday, July 26, at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.
Danny Smith (Sand Springs, Okla.) leads the standings by a slim four-point margin and is the only driver to score multiple victories thus far in the 2019 season. He captured a victory in June at Creek County and also won in the most recent series race two weeks ago at 81 Speedway in Kansas.
June Red Dirt winner Johnny Kent (Kiefer, Okla.) is second in the standings (-4) ahead of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Cameron Hagin (-32).
Friday’s date is one of four remaining Creek County races on the schedule, with upcoming races also on August 16, October 11 and October 12. Andrew Deal (Caney, Kans.) won at Creek County in April.
For this Friday’s event, front gates open at 5pm Central, the driver draw closes at 6:30, drivers meeting at 6:30pm, hot laps at 7pm and racing at 7:30pm. Adult general admission tickets are $15 and pit passes are $35 apiece.
