Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (May 4, 2020) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division season restarts this weekend during a doubleheader at Creek County Speedway.
Terry Mattox Promotions is hosting the two-day TUHB, Quality Threads Small-Town Showdown at the bullring in Sapulpa, Okla., where the three premier national divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will duke it out on Friday and Saturday.
Frank Flud is the points leader in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions. He leads the Stock Non-Wing standings by 96 points over Johnny Boland thanks to a division-leading three victories in seven races. Flud’s six Winged ‘A’ Class wins have guided him to a 137-point advantage over Jade Avedisian in the championship standings.
The closest points battle is in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division as Garrett Benson owns a six-point edge over Avedisian with Ryder Laplante only 21 points out of the top spot. Benson leads the division with four triumphs.
Racing begins at 8 p.m. (Central) on Friday and at 7 p.m. (Central) on Saturday.
No general admission tickets will be sold. Pit passes are $30 per person and per division.
Both nights will be streamed via live video by the RacinBoys Broadcasting Network. A RacinBoys All Access pass, which is $29.99 per month, airs the video from hot laps through the A Main each night.
