Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 8, 2020) – A lot of money and prestige is on the line throughout this week during the Mo State Construction Sooner 600 Week presented by Hi-Plains Building Division.
The three premier Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – will duke it out during five straight nights of action at four different tracks in Oklahoma and Kansas. The Winged ‘A’ Class winner will receive $700 each night and $600 goes to the winner each night in the Stock Non-Wing and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions. Also, the Speedweek champion in each division will earn a $1,500 bonus.
The action begins on Wednesday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan. Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., hosts Round 2 on Thursday before Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., is the Speedweek midpoint on Friday. Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., showcases an event on Saturday with Creek County Speedway wrapping up Speedweek on Sunday.
Bradley Fezard enters Speedweek with a 55-point lead over Frank Flud in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings. Jade Avedisian holds a 133-point edge over Fezard in the Winged ‘A’ Class standings. Avedisian is also up six points over Garrett Benson in the Restricted ‘A’ Class standings.
The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. each night this week except on Sunday when it opens at 3 p.m. Hot laps begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, at 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 6 p.m. on Sunday with racing to follow.
Pit passes are $30 per person each night. The pill draw will be $10 per class each night.
Fast Four Media will broadcast a live video stream at https://fastfourmedia.com/ during every night of Speedweek action except the race at Port City Raceway, which will be broadcast at http://www.floracing.com.
Flud is the defending Speedweek champion in both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class divisions. Ryan Timms won the Restricted ‘A’ Class Speedweek title last year.
