Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (Nov. 12, 2021) – Chelby Hinton, Frank Flud and Corbin Rueschenberg kicked off the final weekend of the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division season by reaching Victory Lane on Friday evening at Creek County Speedway.
Hinton extended his lead in the Stock Non-Wing standings thanks to his fifth NOW600 Series triumph of the season. Johnny Boland was the runner up with Flud placing third, Kale Drake fourth and Kenton Brewer fifth.
Drake, Flud, Boland and Hinton were the heat race winners. Dustin Maxwell captured the B Main.
Flud recorded his sixth NOW600 Series Winged ‘A’ Class victory of the season. Points leader Noah Key earned a second-place result with Rueschenberg finishing third. Colby Sokol ended fourth and Weldon Buford was fifth.
The heat races were won by Sokol, Flud and Boland.
Rueschenberg was credited with his sixth Restricted ‘A’ Class triumph during NOW600 Series competition this season. Chase McDougal produced a second-place showing as Scout Spraggins, points leader Garrett Benson and 16th-starting Justis Sokol rounded out the top five, respectively.
Spraggins, Rueschenberg and Benson each won a heat race.
The NOW600 Series season finale is Saturday at Creek County Speedway. Hot laps begin at 5 p.m. with racing to follow.
