Weekly Racing Series back to action this Saturday night at “The Creek”

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 25th, 2013) – This Saturday night at the Creek County Speedway, the weekly stars and cars will again tackle the quick quarter.

Brent Bates still leads the Champ Sprint point standings, with Ricky York right behind in the chase. Jackie York took over the third spot this past weekend away from the young Christian York who now sits in the fourth spot. Robby Sherrell currently rounds out the top 5 in Champ Sprint point standings going into this weekend.

Brett “The Jet” Wilson continues to lead Ho Dean by a slim 30 point margin in the mighty Modified division. Dena Wilson currently holds down the third spot. Shawn Rowell resides in the fourth spot, with Anthony Neel rounding out the top 5.

Jeff Record has extended his points lead by 57 over second place runner Kevin Brewer in the down and dirty Dwarf Car division. David Cummins rounds out the podium sitting in the third spot. Kent Kantor resides in the fourth spot, with Larry Pense rounding out the top 5.

In the chase for the championship in the fast and furious Factory Stock division Josh Jefferies continues to lead the point standings over second place Jimmy Owens. Bobby Wolfe currently holds down the third spot. Justin Green sits in the fourth spot, with Tommy Romine rounding out the top 5 in the fast and furious Factory Stock division.

The Denton boys are currently on top of the charts in the Mini Stock division point standings. Daniel Ray Denton currently leads his cousin Dee Denton who sits in second. Front Wheel Driver Michael Rodman rounds out the podium. Last weeks ‘A’ Feature winner Dearl Harrison holds down the fourth spot, with Sean Cusac rounding out the top 5.

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!

Gates open at 4:30; Hotlaps at 6:30; and the green flag flies at 7:00!

Tickets just $10 for adults, children 10-14 $6 and kid 10 and under are always FREE! Pit Pass $30.

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located outside Sapulpa, Oklahoma on historic Route 66. CCS has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
