The Creek “Lights it up Blue” on Friday and Fast Five Action Continues Saturday.

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (April 22, 2015) – Two nights of action are set to grace the clay at the quick quarter mile, Creek County Speedway just outside Sapulpa, Okla. on historic route 66 this weekend.
Friday night will feature the 2nd annual “Light up the Creek Blue” for Autism awareness night featuring the Restricted, Non-Wing and Outlaw 600cc micro sprints of the National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass.com.
In last years’ “Light up the Creek Blue” Cole Roberts topped the NOW600 Restrictor feature, Chris Cochran outran the field in the Non-Wing class and Frank Flud flooded the field in A-Class.
This will be the first of five events schedule to be contested by the NOW600 Micro Sprint Series. Other dates will include: May 8, June 5, June 26 and August 14. Friday night will also be the first NOW600 Winged 600cc Outlaw race to be held in 2015.
Ticket prices for Friday night are as follows: Adults: $10, Kids 10-14: $6 and Children under 10 are Free! Pit passes are $30. WE ARE ASKING EVERYONE COMING ON FRIDAY TO WEAR YOUR BRIGHTEST BLUE!!
Times for Friday night are as follows: Gates open at 5PM and Racing is set to kick off at 8PM.

On Saturday night, the growing and actioned packed “Fast Five Weekly Series” will take center stage with racing action in all five divisions: Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks and Mini Stocks.
NOTE: The Dwarf Car division will be finishing up there A-Main that was washed out at lap number six last week. It will be the first race of the evening at 7PM
Frank Taft will again lead the field in point standings going into Saturday night’s action with Waylon Weaver trailing by 10 markers. Ben Frey currently finds himself in third, with Will Scribner and Grant Wresche rounding out the top five.
Anthony Neel holds a 48 point lead over Ho Dean in the “Mighty Modified” division. Justin Cartwright goes into Saturday sitting third in point standings with Rusty Wisely and Jason Davis in tow rounding out the top five.
Dwarf Cars: After a rain out on lap six of the 20 lap feature on April 18, the Dwarf Cars will complete their A-Main at the beginning of the racing program on April 25.
James Esmond currently leads, Jimmy Owen by 30 points in the Factory Stock division. Owens only holds second by a slim one marker over Bobby Wolfe who sits in third. Robert McClain and Tim Stowe round out the top five.
Last weeks A-Main winner, Jerad Traster currently holds the point in the Mini Stock division as only the top three are separated by eight points. Evan Smith sits four points behind Traster in second and Dee Denton holds down the final spot on the podium four points behind Smith. Chris Miles and Bobby Traster round out the top five.

Saturday night, Gates open at 4:30PM and Racing is set to begin at 7PM.
