ASCS Red River Headlines “Light Up the Creek Blue” for Autism on Friday with Fast Five Weekly Series Action set for Saturday.

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (April 5, 2016) – The Creek County Speedway is set to light it up blue for the 3rd Annual “Light Up the Creek Blue” for Autism Awareness night featuring the ASCS Red River Region Sprint Cars.

The first of three appearances by the American Bank of Okla. ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products Winged Sprint Cars at the Creek County Speedway will feature some of the best in the Midwest to the tight quarter mile this Friday night. Plus appearances by some of the nation’s best drivers from the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series.

ASCS Red River Regional drivers such as: Kade Morton, Mickey Walker, Chance Morton, Charles McManus, Kevin Ramey, Brandon Hanks, Danny Jennings, Jake Greider, Joe Wood, Jr., Fred Mattox and many more will be on hand this Friday at the Creek County Speedway

Joining the show card will be the Non-Wing Champ Sprint division as they will battling it out for the first time in 2016 wingless. The event for the Non-Wing Champ Sprints will pay $750 to win and $125 to start. Non-Wing Champ Sprints will draw for starting position in the heat race with passing points being used for feature starting spots. The top 8 in passing points will re-draw for the first four rows of the feature event. Drivers meeting will be held at the ASCS competition trailer at 6:30PM with draw to be held following the meeting.

The Driven Midwest NOW600 Winged Outlaw Micros will also be in action on the quick quarter-mile. The Outlaw class pays $400 to win and $40 to start the 20-lap feature event. More information on the Driven Midwest NOW600 Series log onto http://www.now600series.com.

Admission is $15 for Adults; Kids 10-14: $6 and Children under 10 are always Free at Creek County Speedway. All access pit passes are $30.

Gates open at 5PM, Hotlaps at 7:30PM and Racing at 8PM. Non-Wing Champ Sprints will have their drivers meeting at 6:30PM at the ASCS competition trailer with draw to held following the meeting.

Week three of the Fast Five Weekly Series will headline the show card on Saturday night, April 9: Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks and Mini Stocks.

Looking into the point standings for the Champ Sprints, Danny Smith continues to lead the field with Casey Wills holding onto second. Sean McClelland has moved into the third spot with Kevin Brewer and Zach Alley rounds out the top five.

Collin Wiseley leads the Modified point standings over Ho Dean. Joe Wright currently resides in the three spot with Brandon Dean and Edward Geneva coming to week three in fourth and fifth.

Dwarf Car point standings are being led by Larry Pense. Jorge Chacon is in the second spot after his win in the feature last Saturday night. Rob McQuary finds himself in the third spot with Paul York and Tanner Phillips rounding out the top five.

In the Fast and Furious Factory Stocks, Bobby Wolfe holds the top spot over Toby Cooper. Jimmy Owen holds onto the third spot with Justin Dunn and Danny Cochran finding themselves all in the top five.

Wesley Knebel continues to hold the top spot in the Mini Stock division. Daniel Ray Denton is on the second spot of the podium with Michael Denton completing the podium. Phillip Stewart is in fourth with Robert Lockhart in fifth.

Saturday’s action is set to kick off at 7PM with Hotlaps at 6:30 and Gates opening at 5PM.

Prices on Saturday will be back to normal with Adults at $10, Kids 10-14: $6 and Children under 10: Free. Pit passes: $30.

Creek County Speedway is a tight quarter-mile bullring racing every Saturday night, located 6 miles west of Sapulpa, Oklahoma on Historic Route 66.
