Creek County Speedway Welcomes Micro Sprints

Tulsa, Okla. (February 20,2017) - With the uncertainty of other micro sprint racing facilities in the area, Creek County Speedway officials have decided to launch a weekly Micro Sprint campaign for the 2017 racing season.

After many discussions with various Micro Sprint teams, and a meeting that was held on February 18th, officials with the speedway are moving forward with a decision to run a Micro Sprint Car show on Friday nights, Starting on April 7th.

With the exception of a small number of shows that Creek County Speedway has previously booked and are committed to, Micro Sprints will run at the quick 1/4 mile on Friday nights throughout the 2017 season.

Creek County Speedway officials and staff have been working to accommodate the new Friday night show, and are just as excited about the addition of a weekly micro sprint program as the racers are to have a local place to race.

Micro Sprints will be running off of Port City Raceway's 2016 Rule Book for the 2017 Racing Season.

Micro Sprint classes that Creek County Speedway are going to run are:

Jr. Sprint
Sportsman
Outlaw
A-Class
Non-Wing A-Class
Restricted

Racing on Friday nights will begin at 8PM with Gates opening at 5PM, and Hot Laps starting at 7:30

Ticket Prices:

Adults: $10
Kids 10-14: $6
Children under 10: FREE
Pitpasses: $30
