McSperitt Ups Win Total To Six as Clark, Shultz, Pense, and Wolfe Score Creek County Speedway Wins

Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 23, 2018) Racing through Round 11 on the season for the Fast Five Weekly Series at Creek County Speedway, the lineup of winners included two first-timers on the 2018 season in Champ Sprint and Modified competition as Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks, and Mini Stocks saw Drivers add to their win totals.

Continuing to build on his season in the Mini Stocks, Kevin McSperitt advanced six positions to capture his sixth triumph of the season. Jimmy Masterson in second was followed by Joshua Tyre who moved to third after starting eighth. Justin Melton and Kenny Grumadas made the top-five. Also adding to his win total, Larry Pense raced his No. x15 Dwarf Car to victory for the second time this season. Rolling from the pole, Pense led Rob McQuary to the stripe with Paul York, Logan Applegate, and Chandler Foltz to make the top-five.

Win No. 2 on the season for Bobby Wolfe, the 15 lap Factory Stock A-Feature was all about Bobby Wolfe. Jimmy Owen, Calvin Lewis, Jeff Weller, and Billy Newton crossed inside the top-five. Adding their first win of the 2018 season, Kyle Clark worked from seventh to victory in the Champ Sprint A-Feature with Kendall Schultz also winning in Modified competition.

While Clark grabbed the Champ Sprint victory, Jaiden Hughes crossed second with Will Scribner, Casey Wills, and Brett Wilson moving up seven positions to fifth. I the Modifieds, Shultz from sixth was trailed to the finish by Chad Davis from seventh. Blake Fogle, Joe Wright, and Hoe Dean rounded out the top-five.

Creek County Speedway’s Fast Five Weekly Series of Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks, and Mini Stocks returns for Round 12 on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Gates open at 5:00 P.M with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. Races get underway at 7:30 P.M. (CT).

Admission prices are $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 get in for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15).
