ASCS Sooner Region Headed For Creek County and 81-Speedway This Weekend

Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 8, 2020) Looking at a weekend double, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will scatter soil Friday, July 10 at Creek County Speedway (Sapulpa, Okla.) and Saturday, July 11 at 81-Speedway (Park City, Kan.).

Both nights of racing offer a $2,000 to win, $300 to start A-Feature purse.

The second show of the season at Creek County Speedway, it was Washington’s Seth Bergman who made an off the wall, high-side pass through the final two turns on May 29 over Blake Hahn to secure the win.

The tour’s first visit to 81-Speedway since the track changed ownership at the close of the 2019 season, the matchup on July 13, 2019, went to racing veteran, Danny Wood.

Friday, July 10 at Creek County Speedway opens at 4:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:15 P.M. Racing gets underway at 8:00 P.M. (CT). Admission is $15 for adults with kids 10 and under free into the grandstands. Creek County Speedway is located at 18450 West Hwy. 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville. Saturday, July 11 at 81-Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for Senior and Military, and free for kids 10 and under. 81-Speedway is located at 7700 N. Broadway in Park City, Kan.
