ASCS Sooner Region Taking on Salina Highbanks and Creek County Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (April 13, 2021) From high banks and speed to match to the technical short track, this weekend’s combination of venues for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will take on the Salina Highbanks Speedway on Saturday, April 17 and Creek County Speedway on Sunday, April 18.

Last seeing ASCS action with the former Red River Region on August 26, 2018, Coweta’s Chance Morton advanced five positions for the win over Dustin Morgan, with older brother, Kade Morton, completing the night’s podium.

Saturday, April 17, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for youth ages 6-10, and free for kids five and under. The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will be joined by Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and B-Mods. Salina Highbanks Speedway is located at 3164 OK-20, Pryor, OK 74361. More information on the track is online at http://www.salinahighbanksspeedway.com.

Rolling south to Creek County Speedway, Sunday, April 18, is presented by Terry Mattox Promotions and includes Non-Wing Champ/305 Sprint Cars and NOW600 Sooner Dwarf Cars. Gates open at 4:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 5:15 P.M. Racing gets underway at 6:00 P.M. (CDT).

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for youth 11-14. Kids 10 and under, as well as all Military, get in the grandstands free of charge. Creek County Speedway is located at 18450 West Hwy. 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville.
